Petrol prices highest in Norway, know the rate in other countries!

On Friday, petrol prices were raised by Rs 3.13 a litre and diesel by Rs 2.71, including state levies in Delhi, on the back of rising international crude rates and falling value of the rupee

Different countries with different petrol prices

1. Norway: With over 5086 oil wells, from year 1966 to 2013, petrol prices are highest in Norway.  

The country with world's second highest GDP per capita, a person in this country has to spend 3.59 percent of their income to buy petrol.

The petrol price here is Rs 588.28 per gallon, that is, around Rs 135 per litre.

2. Netherland: The world's 18th largest economy, Netherlands is at the second spot in terms of  petrol prices. The price of a gallon of petrol is Rs 568.45, ie almost Rs 126 per litre.

3. Italy: The world's 9th largest economy, high per capita GDP and the country with lowest unemployment rate, Italy ranks third in terms of petrol prices. The petrol price is Rs 561.24 for a gallon.  

It means you have to spend Rs 124 for one litre of  petrol.

4. Denmark: The price of a gallon of petrol is Rs 549.22, which means that 1 litre of petrol will cost Rs 112. In 1973 there was oil crisis in Denmark. People over here had to spend 5.59 percent of there income to buy petrol.

5. Greece: Unemployment is the biggest problem in this country and petrol prices has waffled the country's economy.

Greece in terms of the price of petrol prices is the 5th most expensive country. A gallon of petrol costs 529.39 here, ie almost Rs. 112 per litre.
