Mumbai: Back office company Firstsource Solutions has reported a 29.7 per cent rise in net profit to Rs. 53.2 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014.
Net profit for the BSE-listed company was Rs. 41 crore in the corresponding year-ago period.
Revenues went up by 5.1 per cent to Rs. 755.6 crore (Rs 719.1 crore).
Firstsource had reduced 519 employees in the quarter gone by to take its employee base to 27,147, as per a press statement.
