New Delhi: Pop singer Katy Perry, who once shot whipped cream out of her bra in the "California Gurls" music video and posed naked for her Teenage Dream album cover, is now the most-followed celebrity on Twitter. She surpassed Justin Bieber to claim the title.
Perry now has over 46,501,242 followers compared to Bieber's 46,488,993.
The title of most-followed celebrity on Twitter was long held by Lady Gaga. But Bieber took the lead in January, when he surpassed Gaga at the 33.33 million follower mark. And six month later Katy Perry passed Gaga at around 39 million followers.
Perry's latest album, "Prism," was released Oct. 22 via Capitol Records.
