New Delhi: Korean handset maker LG has announced an all new L Series III range which includes handsets from entry –level to mid-level. The handsets are called the LG L90, L70, and L40. What makes these budget handsets will offer Android KitKat out-of-the-box.
LG L90The LG L90 sports a qHD (960x 540) pixel 4.7 inch IPS display amd comes with a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and 8 GB of built-in memory which is expandable via microSD. The phone sports an 8 mega pixel primary camera and is powered by a large 2,540 mAh battery. The device supports 3G network (HSPA+">HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps) for faster mobile internet.
LG 70It is a mid-ranger and offers 4.5-inch IPS display sporting 800x400 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a smaller 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, and has 4 GB of build-in memory which can be expanded via a micro SD card. The battery on L70 is a smaller but capable 2100 mAh one. Both the devices come with 1 GB of RAM. The L70 comes with support for 3G networks (HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps)for faster mobile internet experience.
LG L40The L40 sports a smaller 480x320 3.5 inch display and comes with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It has 4GB of built-in memory and a paltry 512 MB of RAM. The handset comes with 1700 mAh or 1540 mAh removable battery which would be market specific. The device supports 3G network (HSPA+ upto 14.4Mbps).
LG has not announced the pricing and availability of the new handsets. More details on that are expected to be shared at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain starting February 26.
