New Delhi: Taiwanese handset maker HTC has drastically cut the price of its mid-range device, the Desire 700. Earlier, the device was available for unreasonably high price tag of Rs 33,050.
The smartphone sports a 5-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM along with 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.
The device runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean wrapped under HTC's Sense UI.
It features an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED Flash and HTC Zoe support. It also houses 2.1-megapixel front camera. Other features include HTC BoomSound stereo speakers at the front, a 2,100mAh battery, which is said to be good enough for 11.6 hours of talktime and 582 hours on standby mode.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
