Dell launches Venue 8 and Venue 11 Android-based tablets to India

New Delhi: PC maker Dell has launched two new Android-based tablets in India, Venue 8 and the Venue 11, powered by Intel Atom Z2760, priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 17,499 respectively. In addition, Dell



The Venue 7 comes with a 7-inch (1200 x 800 pixels) display and is powered by an Intel Atom Z2760 dual-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. It also offers a 3 megapixel rear snapper, VGA front camera , and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable upto 32GB using a microSD card. The device gets its juice from a 4,100mAh battery which is claimed to provide upto 10 hours of HD video playback.
 
On the other hand, the Venue 8 Pro offers an 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) display. It's powered by an Intel Atom Z3740D quad-core SoC, that is part of Bay Trail chips from the company. The chipset is clocked at 1.8GHz and is couple with 2GB of RAM. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front camera. Users can buy the tablet with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. Connectivity options are the standard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
