5 best and affordable Samsung smartphones

New Delhi: With a nearly 33 per cent share, Korean handset maker Samsung clearly rules the Indian smartphone market. Thanks to its Galaxy range of handsets, an increasing number of people now associate Samsung's own

Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro

It looks like a smaller version of the Galaxy Grand and can even be mistaken for a Galaxy S3 owing to the dimensions. It comes with 4.7-inch capacitive touch-screen display at a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and 198-ppi (pixels per inch) density. It measures 133.3 mm (height), 70.7 mm (width) and 9.65 mm (thickness) and weighs 143.9 gm. However, at this price point, most manufacturers offer smartphones with 5-inch displays and screen resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels. But what differentiates Quattro from many other Samsung phones is that it is first smartphone by the company to powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad core processor. Other specifications include 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and a 2,000mAh battery. The battery lasted a full day with calls, texts, emails and multimedia. The 5MP rear camera offers mediocre performance and the video recording is limited to 480p resolution (720 x 480 pixels).
