New Delhi: Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev today said that Patanjali is a self-sustainable business model and the company will never manufacture any product which will be harmful for health.

Participating in the India TV ‘Samvaad’ Conclave, Ramdev said that the company sells almost 250 medicines at no-profit-no-loss criteria. This model also adds FMCG products like flour, salt and around 10 more commodities.

“Many products are even sold at just 1-2 per cent profit margins. These initiatives by Patanjali are being taken to strengthen the country,” he said.

To give a tough competition to Amul and Mother dairy, Patanjali will soon come with its own dairy products, added Baba Ramdev.

Recently, Patanjali announced that it will set up a food processing park and cow research centre in Madhya Pradesh and three more places with an investment of Rs 500 crore.

India TV has taken a yet another initiative, 'SAMVAAD', to highlight the hits and misses, opportunities and challenges that will define the next three years of current NDA regime’s mandate. It is being organised as Modi government will complete two years in office this month.
