Docoss posts hands-on video and photos of the cheapest smartphone, proving its real

New Delhi: Docoss, manufacturer of the Docoss X 1 smartphone, which had caught attention of consumers due to its price, has posted a hands-on video claiming that the cheapest smartphone is real. It also posted couple of images of the device on its Twitter account. The Doscoss X1 is priced at Rs. 888 and currently up for pre-bookings via SMS and the company's website. 

The hands-on video includes the unboxing of the device, revealing the Docoss X1 with in-ear headphones, USB cable and plug. The video also shows that the smartphone is capable of running basic applications such as WhatsApp and Facebook. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM supports and supports all the Indian operators.

On the other hand Twitter images reveal the UI of the device showing that it comes with all the popular apps like Google voice search, Play store and YouTube. The company tweeted, "Don't panic real phone real images," alongside four images of the Docoss X1 that appear to match the device seen on the company's website.

The Docoss X1 features a 4-inch display, with a resolution of 400x480 pixels; a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 processor; 1GB of RAM; 4GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB); GPRS/ EDGE; 3G; a 1300mAh battery; a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash; a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It weighs 102 grams, and measures 122.2x64.4x9.3mm.
