How to clean up spam and bot followers from your Instagram account

Launch the Instagram app on your smartphone.

Go to your profile and tap on "Followers."

If your Instagram identifies potential spam followers, you'll see a notification labelled "Potential spam."

Select "Remove all spam followers" to delete them in one go.

To mark an account as not spam, tap on the three dots (more actions) next to the account and choose "Not spam" to confirm.

Once removed, these potential spam followers will no longer appear in your follower count or list. They will not be notified of their removal.
