Google business profiles websites to shut down in March 2024

Google will shut down websites created with Google Business Profiles in March 2024.

After the shutdown, customers visiting these websites will be redirected to the respective Business Profiles until June 10, 2024.

After June 10, 2024, customers attempting to visit the websites will encounter a "page not found" error.

Google suggests businesses create new websites using alternative tools and update their Business Profiles with the new website address.

Domains ending with business.site and negocio.site will be removed from the website field on Business Profiles. Additionally, Google plans to close the "Important" tab in the Files by Google app on February 15, 2024, permanently deleting saved content within that tab.
