Japan: Hiroshima marks 78th anniversary of atomic bombing

The nuclear bomb dropped by the US on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, obliterated the city, killing 140,000 individuals, and a subsequent bomb dropped three days later on Nagasaki killed an additional 70,000.
