Delhiites, time to bring out the raincoats

Rains continued to lash Delhi and neighbouring areas for the third consecutive day today.

Several vehicles were seen submerged at various places as the downpour began.

Incessant rains pounded the national capital on Thursday causing waterlogging across a wide swathe of the city, leading to the crawling of traffic.

The minimum temperature in Delhi on Saturday settled at 22.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal.

Delhi had reeled under waterlogging woes with several key stretches of roads dotted with puddles as rains ceaselessly lashed the city.

The weather department had issued a ‘yellow alert’ for Sunday. It has cautioned people about moderate rain at most places in the region with heavy rains at a couple of locations.
