UP flood: Death toll mounts to 40; over 1,500 villages affected
The death toll in Uttar Pradesh floods triggered by incessant rainfall rose to 40, officials said on Monday. 31 people have lost their lives in Bahraich and Shrawasti districts alone taking the toll in the state to 40.
