Football tournament organised in memory of Manipur's Maharaja

The 62nd 'Sir Churachand Singh KCSI-CBE Memorial Invitation Football Tournament' was organised in Manipur's Imphal. The final match of the event was played on January 19 between Neroca FC and SSU Singjamei. Neroca FC lifted the champion title of the event. They were awarded with cash prize of Rs 5 lakh and a gold plated trophy, while SSU Singjamei received Rs 2.5 lakh. Total 32 teams participated in the football tournament which started on December 3, 2019. The event took place at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal. This event is played in the memory of Late Maharaja of Manipur Sir Churachand Singh.
