Himachal Pradesh receives heavy snowfall | Watch

Parts of Himachal Pradesh received more than expected snowfall and rain, disrupting normal life in the hilly state. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the rain will continue for next 12 hours and it would result in more snow avalanches and glaciers melting in the region. Rain and snow in Kinnaur district would continue for next few hours. The Kullu and Kinnaur, Mandi, Shimla and Bilaspur districts have received heavy rainfall and higher reaches in Shimla, Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu and Chamba districts have received fresh snowfall during past 24 hours.
