Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das on March 28 assured the bank depositors of safety of their funds despite stock market taking a big hit since the start of this month due to coronavirus pandemic, and said it would be fallacious to link the safety of deposits to the downfall of share prices of banks.
