The road outside gate no. 07 of Jamia Millia Islamia has been cleared ahead of voting for Delhi elections. Protest was staged against CAA, NPR and NRC in the area for over a month. The protest has shifted to gate no. 04. According to the protestors, they have cleared the road so that the voters may not face difficulties while going to the polling booths. One of the protestors said that the protest will resume after the elections. Assembly elections in the national capital on February 08 will start at 7 am in the morning and the counting of votes will take place on February 11.
