Active COVID cases dip below 7 lakh, recoveries nearing 70-lakh mark

The COVID-19 has now affected 77,61,312 people in the country. India recorded 54,366 new COVID-19 cases on October 22. As many as 690 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 1,17,306.
