Due to continuous rainfall, water level of river Ganga has increased in Patna on June 22. Bihar disaster management and police are on high alert. The Sanjeev Kumar Suman, Director of Central Water Commission (CWC), Patna said that the water level in Ganga is less than the warning level as of now.
Ghats on the bank of river Ganga have submerged due to increase in water level of the river. People coming to Manikarnika Ghat to perform last rites are facing problems due to the rise in water level.
