    Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) in Shimla is now opened for visitors after a gap of over five months. The majestic and iconic building is one of the most visited places in Shimla with nearly 2 lakh visitors annually. Akhilesh Pathak, PRO of IIAS said, "The building was closed from April 2021 and the building is now open for visitors. COVID protocols are is being implemented amid the pandemic."

    Mentioning that the second wave of coronavirus is on a downward trajectory at the moment in the country but it is still existent in a limited way, in some areas, the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday said gross violations of Covid-19 appropriate behaviour can nullify the gains so far.
