Thunderstorm, squall and heavy rains continue to wreak havoc in North India even as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the threat will continue to haunt the region for next 48 hours.
The weather in Delhi suddenly changed on Wednesday afternoon with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing thunderstorm alert in the evening for the national capital.
The threat of the thunderstorm, which has wreaked havoc over parts of 15 states, is yet to be over.

The weather department has forecast a spell of rain/thunderstorm, accompanied with squall, in the national capital late in the evening on Monday. It said the wind speed might go up to 50-70 kilometers per hour.
