The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (UPATS) has arrested two Rohingyas, identified as Mohamed Rafique and Mohammed Amin, from the Makdoomnagar area under the Kotwali police station of Aligarh.
Five Myanmar boat crew-members and the Thai captain of the vessel found stranded on a southern Thai island with 65 Rohingya Muslims have been charged with people smuggling, the police said on Friday.
Security forces on Sunday detained seven children of Rohingya Muslims at a railway station in northern Tripura adjoining Assam, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) official said here.
Officials said that the border guarding force signed papers and handed over the 31 Rohingyas to the staff of the Amtoli police station in West Tripura district police at 11 am.

"If these Rohingyas and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants do not leave India respectfully, then they should be shot and eliminated. Then only our country will be safe," the BJP leader said.
"In the most conservative estimations" at least 6,700 of those deaths have been caused by violence, including at least 730 children under the age of five, MSF said in a report.
