Lockdown 4.0: Announcing new guidelines, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday said the state government is continuing relaxations, however, Red Zones cannot be relaxed. Thackeray said tough norms will prevail for areas in Mumbai and Pune.
A day after MHA extended lockdown till May 31, Chandigarh administration released its new guidelines on Monday to put curb on the spread of coronavirus. Administration announced that all UT administration offices will function from 10 am to 5:30 pm. Chandigarh Disaster Management Authority said Chandigarh will continue to be in 'red zone' till further orders.
Madhya Pradesh government has issued the latest guidelines for the 4th stint of lockdown which came into place today. In the new set of guidelines, Shivraj Chouhan-led MP government has given several relaxations in rules that need to be followed in the state till May 31. The Punjab Government on Monday released new guidelines for the state after the nationwide lockdown was extended till May 31. The Uddhav Thackeray-led government in Maharashtra has extended the lockdown in the state to May 31, PTI reported quoting officials. The Lockdown 4.0 will be implemented with strict measures in the state including containment zones Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, Malegaon, Aurangabad and Solapur until May 31.
