Along with the Emisat, the rocket will carry 28 third-party satellites and also demonstrate its new technologies like three different orbits.
The PSLV that would be flying on January 24 with Microsat R and Kalamsat will be a two strap-on motors configuration and is designated as PSLV-DL.
The fully commercial PSLV-C42 rocket will carry two British vehicles, NovaSAR-1 and S1-4 made by the Surrey Satellite Technologies Limited (SSTL) in the UK.
The successful mission came after a rare failure in August last year when the PSLV-C39 could not release the backup navigation satellite IRNSS-1H due to a technical snag.
