Investigations have also exposed the sinister agenda of the PFI, which had been engaged in organising arms and terror training camps to train the radicalised youth in the use of weapons, swords and iron rods to wreak terror and vengeance on their ‘enemies’.
The four accused PFI cadres were operating, along with other accused in planning violent criminal acts by arranging arms and ammunition and in propagating the PFIs ideology and agenda of violent extremism.
Under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, this was the sixth PFI arms training facility and the 18th property attached by the NIA in Kerala.
As per the investigating agency, the duo had arranged weapons and ammunition to carry out targeted killings in several regions of the state.
PFI ban: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the government will deal firmly with anyone with a "divisive or disruptive design" against India.
PFI ban LIVE updates: In a notification issued late Tuesday night, the Union Home Ministry said the central government is of the opinion that the PFI and its affiliates have been involved in subversive activities, thereby disturbing public order and undermining the constitutional setup.
Raids on PFI: In Bidar district, PFI district president Abdul Karim and SDPI district secretary Sheikh Maqsood have been detained. Six members of PFI have also been taken into preventive custody in Kolar district.
In the raids conducted in 15 states of the country, the investigating agencies have found strong evidence of PFI's involvement in terrorist activities.
The searches were conducted in connection with five cases registered by the NIA following "continued inputs and evidence" that the PFI leaders and cadres were involved in the funding of terrorism and terrorist activities.
A large number of criminal cases have been registered in different states over the last few years against the PFI and its leaders and members for their involvement in many violent acts.
The incident came hours after National Investigation Agency, Enforcement Directorate and the state police forces jointly carried out searches at PFI offices.
Multi-agency teams spearheaded by the NIA had arrested 106 functionaries of the PFI on Thursday in near-simultaneous raids at 93 locations in 15 states for allegedly supporting terror activities in the country.

Notably, violence broke out in the Karauli district of Rajasthan on April 2 after a stone-pelting incident at a religious procession.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma had earlier urged the Central government to ban the PFI and seal their bank account.
A purported video, in which the child could be seen sitting on the shoulder of a person and raising offensive slogans during the "Save the Republic" rally held by the PFI on May 21, had gone viral on social media platforms.
The state government in Madhya Pradesh had ordered demolition of 'illegal structures' belonging to those allegedly involved in the recent violence in Khargone.
