Omicron variant of Coronavirus takes world by storm, no cases detected in India

While many countries in the world have detected numerous cases of the new Omicron variant, no cases have yet been found in India. However, a new case of coronavirus has been detected in Chandigarh in a person who had recently returned from South Africa.
