Birla also called upon presiding officers to review the procedures, rules of legislative bodies to ensure that people's rights can be protected.
Om Birla said that narratives of energy security, climate protection and development can go hand in hand.
The Congress party has stated that it's against the principle and spirit of the constitution and ruling BJP is violating the highest tradition in the state by organising the address of Om Birla to both members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council.
Parliament's Monsoon Session is slated to begin from July 19 and will conclude on August 13.
