The Supreme Court has agreed to hear on Tuesday pleas which have alleged police atrocities on students holding protests against the amended Citizenship Act at the Aligarh Muslim University and the Jamial Millia Islamia University in Delhi.
The Jamia Millia Islamia University will be opening four new departments in its 100th year, its Vice-Chancellor Najma Akhtar said on Tuesday.
The date has been extended to October 10, according to a letter written by the varsity registrar to the resident commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
Online admission forms and e-prospectus will be available from March 14 on the university’s website www.jmi.ac.in. The last date to apply is April 12.
