Indian Navy's INS Jalashwa which left Male port in Maldives on Saturday, arrived here on Sunday with 588 Indian citizens on board. They include 497 males, 70 women and 21 children.
INS Jalashwa on Sunday brought back 698 repatriated Indian nationals from Maldives who had stuck due to lockdown. All stranded Indian nationals arrived at Cochin Port today.
INA Jalashwa on Thursday entered Male port for the first phase under 'Operation Samudra Setu' to repatriate Indian from the Maldives. The evacuation process will start from the Maldives on Friday, with Jalashwa carrying 750 Indians to Kochi.
