Nuh violence: The FIR was registered under IPC sections 153-A (promoting enmity between different groups) and 505 (statements conducing public mischief), among others, at the Hathin Police station on Monday, police said.

A total of 393 people have been arrested and 118 others detained so far in connection with the communal violence in Nuh.
Six people, including two home guards and a cleric, died in the communal clashes that erupted in Nuh when the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) procession was attacked by a mob on July 31.
Haryana violence: Nuh SP Narendra Bijarnia told media that permission for the mahapanchayat was sought by Hindu groups in Nuh but the same was denied due to security reasons. “The situation in Nuh is peaceful now," he said.
