Although there was no official confirmation about the fatalities, media reports cited emergency services and asserted many people were feared dead in the tragic incident.
Massive fire has broken out at a plastic factory near Goblej in Gujarat's Kheda.
An FIR has been registered under sections 286, 287, 304, 308, 337 and 338 of the IPC at the Dhaulana police station. The FIR states that firecrackers were manufactured at the factory.
The fire tenders reached the location as soon as they received the information and started dousing the fire.
According to reports, the blast took place in the boiler of MM Food factory situated at Magadi Road in the capital city.
