At least 6 new deaths and 438 new coronavirus cases have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of cases in the national capital now stands at 9,333 including 5,278 active cases, the Delhi Health Department has informed.
A Delhi teacher who was involved in distributing ration during the lockdown and tested positive for coronavirus, has died. The teacher was posted at a primary school in Wazirabad under the North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Delhi on Sunday recorded the highest single-day spike in coronavirus cases with 427 fresh cases, taking its tally to 4,549. 64 deaths have been reported in the national capital till date, said Directorate General of Health Services, Delhi government.
