Ahead of 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held core committee meeting on Sunday to discuss the party candidates for the upcoming Delhi polls.
A total of 55,823 PwD voters are registered in the electoral roll as on January 6, 2020, for the Assembly Election 2020, according to the latest figures compiled by the office of Chief Electoral Officer, Delhi.
The constituency lacks basic amenities, especially potable water and better roads and sewerage system. During the last five years, the AAP government has provided a potable water line to parts of the constituency but it lacks water supply from the Delhi Jal Board.
The ruling party is likely to come up with its first list of candidates before January 14 and the saffron party by January 18. Congress' first list of nominees too is expected before January 14.
