At least 20 coronavirus 'hotspots' in the National Capital of Delhi have been sealed with immediate effect, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia announced on Wednesday
With new cases appearing every day in various areas of the city, Agra has become the new hotspot of Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh. Agra has topped with total 22 hotspots of the pandemic, followed by Ghaziabad 13 with Lucknow, Gautam Buddh Nagar and Kanpur accounting for 12 hotspots each.
The government has released list of areas in sectors of Gautam Buddh Nagar (NOIDA) which have been designated to be hotspots of coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. These areas will be sealed at midnight on Wednesday.

Uttar Pradesh government has narrowed down on 12 'hotspots' of coronavirus pandemic in state capital Lucknow. 8 of these are major hotspots while 4 are minor. These hotspots will be sealed till the morning of April 15. These areas in the city of lucknow have been declared as hotspots.

The government is focusing its attention on 10 ‘hotspots’ across the country in its effort to control the spread of COVID-19, which has infected more than 1,200 people and claimed at least 35 lives. There are two hotspots each in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Kerala and Maharashtra and one each in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
