Dananjaya is another one in a long line of unorthodox spinners emanating from Sri Lanka. A right-arm off-break bowler in reality, he has the ability to bowl as many as five different variations in an over. So impressed was Mahela Jayawardene with the young spinner that he fast-tracked him into the national side for the World T20 even though he hadn't played a single professional match before. Now a regular member of the shorter-formats teams, Dananjaya looks to vow a global audience when he turns up in Sri Lankan colours at the 2019 World Cup.
