Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched a new budget smartphone in India called the Honor 8C. The phone comes with the AI backed face unlock feature that uses the artificial intelligence algorithm, which recognises the facial features of the user. The phone comes with a 3D nano-level texture design that is combined with gradient colours and glare that offers a unique light and shadow circulation effect.
Honor 8C specifications
The Honor 8C comes with a 6.26-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) TFT IPS LCD panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 86.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor, backed by Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB RAM along with 32GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card to 256GB.
In terms of optics, the Honor 8C comes with a vertically aligned dual rear camera setup that includes a 13 Megapixel primary sensor along with a 2 Megapixel secondary sensor. On the front is an 8 Megapixel camera for selfies that gets fixed focus and f/2.0 aperture.
For connectivity, the phone includes GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, a Micro-USB port, 4G VoLTE, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 LE with aptX with 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone houses a non-removable 4,000mAh battery that comes with 5V/2A (10W) charging support.
Some sensors of the phone include an accelerometer, electronic compass, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and fingerprint sensor.
Honor 8C price
The Honor 8C price starts at Rs 11,999 for the base 4GB/ 32GB variant, whereas the 64GB version comes priced at Rs 12,999. The phone comes in colour options of Aurora Blue, Platinum Gold, Magic Night Black and Nebula Purple colour options. The Honor 8C will go on sale starting 10th December and will be exclusive on Amazon.in and HiHonor store.
