Google just might be paying $9 bn to continue as Apple's default search

According to a media report, Google would be paying Apple $9 billion in 2018 to continue to be a default search engine for iPhone's Safari browser on iOS.

9to5Mac on Saturday reported that, as per Goldman Sachs analyst Rod Hall (via Business Insider), the number just might keep growing, which would probably lead to a payment of $12 billion in 2019.

As Apple just might be using Google as the default search engine in Safari on iOS, note that it also uses Bing for searching on the internet via Siri.

According to Apple, the services will project in huge growth, as sales of its hardware have started to peak.

Moreso, Apple Music has seen constant growth since its beginning, back in 2015, but the free iCloud storage tier still endures at 5GB, as more users are now ready to pay a monthly fee in order to get more storage access.
