Gangtok, July 17 :Sikkim's woman footballer Nima Lhamu Bhutia has been shortlisted for the India Coaching Camp for the forthcoming South Asian Football Federation Cup.
The tournament is scheduled to kick off in Sri Lanka on September one.
Nima is among a few women footballers from Sikkim who are playing at the international level and has been part of the Indian Women's team for some years now.
Nima is a product of the Women's Football Academy at Mangalbaria in West Sikkim.
She, who plays in the forward position, has already represented the state in different National football tournaments.
In 2010, Nima played for India in the U-19 AFC Cup at Dhaka in Bangladesh and then again played for the country in an exhibition exposure match at Bahrain in 2011.
