Women’s World Boxing Championships: Young Sonia Chahal settles for silver in the finals
Debutant Sonia Chahal settled for silver in the finals of Women’s World Boxing Championships after losing to Germany’s Wahner Ornella Gabriele.
The Haryana born boxer lost to the German in the split decision in the 57kg category.
Earlier Mary Kom won her record sixth gold medal in the Women’s World Boxing Championship to claim the only gold medal for the nation.
