Led by Dhyan Chand, India bulldozed Hitler's Germany 8-1.

India was participating under the title 'British India' hockey team. This win at the controversial Berlin Olympics,  is still considered amongst India's greatest sporting moments.

Since it's a Herculean task to lay the hands on the rare footage, Dhyan Chand's family may use diplomatic channel  through  the government.

A 70 minutes film was shot by  Leni Rifenstahl, who was the famous Nazi-propaganda filmmaker.  This film is now with  the family of Leni Rifenstahl.

In the final, watched by Hitler, the 31-year-old Dhyan Chand scored a hat-trick.
