SunRisers Hyderabad have retained 22 players including David Warner and Kane Williamson ahead of IPL 2021.
The Hyderabad outfit has also retained their young brigade, comprising talents like Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad.
All-rounders Vijay Shankar, Mitchell Marsh, Mohammad Nabi and Jason Holder have also been retained by the Hyderabad franchise. Star Afghanistan tweaker and ICC T20I Player of the Decade, Rashid Khan, has also been retained by SRH.
Having won the 2016 edition of the tournament, the Warner-led side one of the few teams who've been consistent in the top-four race. In IPL 2020, SRH finished on the third place and also defeated Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the eliminator. However, their run was halted by Delhi Capitals in the second qualifier.
Billy Stanlake, Fabian Allen, Sandeep Bavanaka, Sanjay Yadav and Yarra Prithvi Raj are the released players.
SunRisers Hyderabad now have INR 10.75 cr remaining in their purse.
