IND vs NZ 3rd ODI Highlights: New Zealand beat India by 41 runs to clinch series

New Zealand have played eight ODI series in India, but this is the first time that they have won an ODI series on Indian soil. A big win for the Kiwis. Mind you, they whitewashed India in Tests 3-0 on our soil last year.

New Zealand have won this now. Kuldeep has been run out and India have lost this by 41 runs. First ODI series win for New Zealand in India.

And that the end of Kohli's knock as India's hopes also completely vanish away. What a knock from the icon, but he would not be on the winning side of this as India still need 

India find themselves on the ropes again. Siraj has been caught behind as he finds a poke at his flick. India eight down for 277, still need 61 from 37 balls.

Harshit is turning out to be a big contributor here for India. What a shot over cow corner as he gets to his fifty in style. But he has been dismissed now as he has been caught off this high full toss. India now in trouble again.

21 runs have come off Jamieson's ninth over, with Kohli slamming a six, Harshit a six and a four. This isn't over until Kohli is out there. India need 68 from 42 balls. 

That's what the crown wanted. That's what Kohli has delivered. Yet another hundred for India's icon as he keeps this chase just about alive. No.85 for the stalwart in international cricket. India need 108 from 60 balls.

Kohli is fighting here for India with Harshit hitting a couple of strokes too. Kohli is now in his 90s. The crowd finds its voice as India are still alive in this.

He is all alone now. Harshit Rana is finding quick runs off his bat, and Kohli looks all alone, needing to pull this almost impossible chase now.

With the required rate closing in towards nine an over, Ravindra Jadeja looks to go big and has been dismissed. Jadeja charged down and heaved it into the leg side, but has been caught by Will Young at deep midwicket.

And just when India were getting a big move on, they have lost Nitish Kumar Reddy, who fails to keep it down and hits this to mid-wicket. End of the 88-run stand. Jadeja joins Kohli now.

What a brilliant stroke this from Nitish as he gets to his fifty. He slog sweeps Phillips for a maximum over cow corner to get to his half ton. India are fighting with 157/4 after 27.

Here is some hard work by these two Indian batters. Kohli is the key without a doubt, but he needs support, and Nitish Reddy is providing that as of now. Nitish has scored bit more in this partnership with 29 of the 50 runs coming off his blade. Kohli has got to his fifty too. India need him to chase this down.

KL Rahul has been dismissed too. This gripped into the surface as Rahul mistimed this to covers. A bit of turn, but the slowness did it for Rahul.

Another one gone and India are in some trouble here. This is a poor shot from Shreyas as he pulls this straight to mid-on, as Kristian Clarke gets his first. Rahul is the new man in now.

The powerplay is done and India are two down. They have lost both of their openers with Rohit chipping Foulkes to mid-on and Gill being dismissed off a peach from Jamieson. 

Another wicket gone and it's the Indian captain who walks back now. An absolute peach this one from Jamieson. He pitches this fuller and gets it to jag back in. It kisses the front pad and hits the wickets. What a ball.

Rohit Sharma has been dropped here in the fourth over. Foulkes, bowling his second over, gets this swing back into the right-hander and got Rohit to poke at it. But the keeper fails to hold onto it. He hits a beautiful four off the next ball but has chipped this to mid-on and has been dismissed. Big blow for India.

And the chase is underway. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are here as they look to provide India with a strong start. Rohit starts with a four off the first ball of the innings. He drives Jamieson past cover point for a four. India 4/0 after 1.

New Zealand have ended strongly here. They have not touched 350 after losing Mitchell and Phillips, but still have got to 337/8. This is a big total too.

New Zealand have lost both their star batters, Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips, and this is certainly hurting them. They have also lost Mitch Hay and are seven down. However, the Kiwis have gone past 300 with Bracewell hitting a couple of sixes.

End of a brilliant knock from Phillips here in Indore. An off-cutter from Arshdeep Singh as Phillips looked to heave this to the heavens, but gets an outside edge and KL Rahul grabs this to his right. NZ 277/4 after 43.1.

And Phillips joins the party as well. He slams an 83-ball hundred as New Zealand are eyeing a huge score. He took some 37 balls to score his first boundary here, but is now going all guns blazing. Second ODI century for Phillips. NZ 266/3 after 42. This stand is now of 208 runs.

Mitchell and Phillips are now cashing in big here in the decider. The Indian bowlers have been taken to the cleaners here and New Zealand's 250 is up. 

It's Mitchell's world, and we are living in it. What is this man? He is an absolute beast. Another hundred for the New Zealand star here. His second century in the series and four in five innings against India in India. 

Phillips gets to his fifty here. He is also making a pretty strong contribution here. A 53-ball half ton for the all-rounder. Mind you, he can do much more than those extraordinary fielding displays. NZ 183/3 after 33.

Mitchell is looking set for another hundred here. He is in his 70s, while Phillips is going strong, too. New Zealand have crossed 150 before the end of the 30th over and would be looking to up the ante more now.

New Zealand have stabilised the things again with Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips put in some hard yards. Mitchell, Phillips and Will Young were the batters who helped New Zealand win the second ODI. Mitchell is doing the work again here.

20 overs have been completed here in Indore, and the Black Caps' score reads 95-3. Daryl Mitchell is the main man here for the visitors, rapidly approaching his half-century. The star batter is on a score of 46* runs in 54 deliveries.

Daryl Mitchell is batting on a score of 38* runs in 42 deliveries. The star batter was exceptional for the Black Caps in the second ODI and is showcasing his class in the third clash as well. After 16.4 overs, the score reads 83-3.

15 overs have passed here in Indore. New Zealand are into the 70s here. The score reads 71-3 after 15 overs. Mitchell on a score of 29*, Phillips on 6*.

Team India have taken the third wicket here! A much-needed breakthrough comes forth. Harshit Rana takes his second wicket. Will Young departs on a score of 30 runs in 41 deliveries. New Zealand 58-3.

Daryl Mitchell and Will Young stand strong on the crease here. The two batters are looking to stay resilient here after the fall of the openers. After 10 overs, the score reads 47-2. Mitchell is on a score of 17* runs with Young on 24*.

With the score reading 32-2 after 7 overs, New Zealand is looking for stability here. Daryl Mitchell and Will Young stand on the crease on a scroes of 10 and 16, respectively. It could be interesting to see how the Black Caps fare after the early setback.

5 overs have completed here in Indore and the Indian team are in complete control so far. With both openers gone, New Zealand are on a score of 21-2. 

The Men in Blue are off to a brilliant start here. After 2.1 overs, the score reads 11-2 with Mitchell and Young on the crease. New Zealand will have to pry their way out of this situation.

Arshdeep Singh has struck first blood for India! Henry Nicholls has been played on the fourth delivery! New Zealand now 5-1. 

Devon Conway and Henry Nicholls make their way out to the pitch here. The openers will hope to get off to a good start. India, on the other hand will look for wickets.

"We would have bowled first, but I think it looks like a good surface and I guess we're going to quickly shift to the mindset of batting first. That's right, it's a big exciting opportunity for us to win a series over here in one-day format. I think they've shown good temperament. They're getting used to international cricket and have made a good fist of it so far (on the new faces). With the series on the line you want to be able to do that stuff under pressure. So I'm looking forward to seeing how they go again tonight. No changes from the last game," New Zealand skipper Bracewell said.

We will have live action begin very soon here. India are coming into the game with one change made, Arshdeep Singh comes into the playing XI in the place of Prasidh Krishna here.

"We're gonna bowl first. (On playing the series decider) That's what we spoke about, great challenge for us, New Zealand putting us under a bit of pressure, these are the moments that all the players wait for. (On this being a high-scoring ground) That is one of the factors why we decided to bowl first. I don't think there'll be much dew here, but looks like a pretty good surface and always good to have a score on the board and then try to chase it down. (Areas to improve) In the middle overs, we need to vary our lengths a little bit more and if we don't take wickets in the middle overs, it becomes very difficult to stop any target. So that will be one of the areas where we would be looking to improve. We've got one change, Arshdeep comes back in place of Prasidh," Gill said at the toss.
