India and Bangladesh lock horns on the third day of the opening Test between the two sides. India scored 404 runs in the first innings and look to keep the good work going in the match.

    Another day gone India's way. This was yet another brilliant display by the Indian team. They exploited the surface with the bat and scored 258/2 as Gill and Pujara smashed their hundreds. Gill smashed his first Test hundred, while Pujara, who registered his 19th Test ton, smashed his fastest International ton. In the bowling, the Men in Blue troubled Bangladesh but could not get a wicket. It's all set for the penultimate day of this Test. We will meet you tomorrow. Take care!

    Gill gets lifeline due to DRS failure

    To add on Bangladesh's agony, DRS stopped working when Yasir Ali wanted an LBW appeal against Shubman Gill to be sent upstairs. The umpire decision was not out and it stayed as the third umpire could not take a look at the DRS.

    Axar Patel gets the final wicket and Bangladesh are folded for 150 in the first innings. KL Rahul runs to the dressing room. Looks India will not give the follow-on and come out to bat. India probably predicted that batting in the fourth innings won't be very easy and did not take a chance. 200 more from here will possibly push Bangladesh out from any hopes.
