India are just a step away from entering the semi-final stage and they will look to outplay South Africa when they meet them at Perth.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma has become the fourth highest run scorer in the history of T20 World Cup. Sharma has pipped Sri Lanka's Tillakaratne Dilshan for the 4th place. 

Suryakumar Yadav has gone past Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan as the highest run scorer in T20Is in 2022. Rizwan has 825 runs till now and SKY has more than him now.

The Indian team is at 114/2 after 15 overs. Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli are out in the middle as India look for a good finish. SKY is going after the bowlers here.

India lose their second wicket as Rohit Sharma walks back after a good 53-run knock. He wanted to dispatch this one at the deep mid-wicket but has been caught near the boundary. Suryakumar Yadav walks in to bat now.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has smashed a fifty here. A much needed one. His catch was dropped but he has been good till now. The skipper started steadily and has accelerated a bit.

The Indian team has got off to a fine start. They lost Rahul early but the pair of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli steadied the ship with a 50-run stand. The pitch looks a bit slow and the Dutch bowlers are also bowling well. Rohit Sharma has started to accelerate and India will look to hold wickets in hand for a good finish.

The Netherlands team is bowling decently till now. They are bowling short to Rohit. They probably know his go to shot- the pull off a short length, which can be caught if he does not middle. 

The Indian team has made a shaky start at the SCG. Rahul has gone early, while Rohit has been dropped. Might be the pitch too but NED are bowling well.

Rohit Sharma plays his customary pull and Tim Pringle has dropped him. Pringle went running back from mid on and it was not an easy chance but as he got his hands to that, it could have been taken. Will this be costly? We shall find that out soon. Meanwhile, Rahul wicket's replay shows the ball was missing the stumps. He would have been saved had India reviewed that.
