Following a successful home season that saw a 3-0 clean sweep in the year 2017 conclusion, Hardik Pandya returned home to celebrate elder brother Krunal’s Mehendi ceremony on Tuesday.
Krunal’s occasion coincided with the second reception of India skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. The cricket-Bollywood star couple, after tying the knot in Italy on December 11, hosted their second star-studded marriage reception in the Astor Ballroom of St Regis, Mumbai, on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old all-rounder, who played alongside brother Hardik for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), married long-time girlfriend Pankhuri Sharma in Mumbai on Wednesday.
“Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her! Ecstatic • Blessed • Thankful,” Krunal had said in a tweet earlier.

Watching the weddings of cricketing bigwigs such as Kohli, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and former India pacer Zaheer Khan, Krunal decided to follow their footsteps.
Ahead of the wedding, a video of Pandya brothers in Krunal's Mehendi ceremony created a buzz among cricket and glamour fanatics. In the video, Krunal and Hardik can be seen shaking a leg together on popular Punjabi tracks and Bollywood numbers.
