'Kulcha' - The nickname given to the duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal and whenever the two spinners are together, they wreak havoc, as they did in the 1st ODI against New Zealand which India won comfortably by 8 wickets in Napier.
Mohammed Shami was named 'Man of the Match' for his 3/19, but it was the two spinners that ripped through the New Zealand line-up. With Kuldeep's 4/39 and Chahal's 2/43, the duo helped India bundle out hosts New Zealand for 157 in the series opener.

Making his debut on Chahal TV, Kuldeep spoke about how the duo understand each other when playing in a match together.
"When you play, it's great because we understand each other well. when you bowl from the other end.. it's not that we always bowl in tandem.
"Sometimes, you start and I come on later and vice versa but we keep discussing our tactics.. It's important because we use our variations well together and that's why batsmen get confused and we get so many wickets. We got many wickets in South Africa, India and now we have started well in New Zealand," Kuldeep told Yuzvendra on Chahal TV.
