Rashid Khan is world's best T20 spinner, says Sachin Tendulkar after his heroics lead SRH to IPL final

Rashid has been on a wicket spree this season and has stunned big names in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League.

The Master Blaster took to Twitter to laud the 19-year old spinner.

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar heaped praise on Afghanistan tweaker Rashid Khan, describing him as the best spinner in the Twenty20 format. Rashid led Sunrisers Hyderabad to the finals of the 2018 Indian Premier League with his all-round performance as SRH beat KKR by 13 runs at Eden Gardens.

The 19-year-old took 20 wickets in 16 matches, including a three for 19 against Kolkata Knight Riders in the second IPL qualifier at Kolkata today. He also blasted a 10-ball 34 in the final overs to help Sunrisers Hyderabad post 174-7 at Edens Gardens.

"Always felt @rashidkhan_19 was a good spinner but now I wouldn't hesitate in saying he is the best spinner in the world in this format. Mind you, he's got some batting skills as well. Great guy," Tendulkar wrote in his twitter handle.

Spin legend Shane Warne also took to Twitter to state that Rashid's bowling excites all and is the exactly the type of spin he loves to watch. "As a leg-spinner I love seeing all the different types of leg spinners playing in the #IPL but watching @rashidkhan_19 bowl in these big games makes me proud as he loves this stage & pressure it also gets me excited!"

Rashid's all-round show helped Sunrisers Hyderabad reach the finals and will play Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium. The Afghan spinner shined with the bat his breezy knock (34*) propelled Sunrisers to a formidable target of 174/7 which included four sixes and two fours. 

His 3/19 was a spell which ensured SRH a place in the finals as the Kane Williamson led team defeated KKR by 13 runs.
