IPL 2019, Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals: A 37-run win for Delhi to get their tournament running. The openers did threaten a little but 33/0 became 45/3 in next to no time. The middle order then tried to rally around Yuvraj Singh but it was too much to be done. Eventually, Yuvraj was the only one who crossed the 50-mark when ideally, he should have had a couple of more mates doing that. Delhi evidently went on to win the match by 37 runs and handing Mumbai yet another reality check. (LIVE MATCH SCORECARD)

22.57 IST: Axar Patel to Yuvraj Singh, MISFIELD, FOUR! Sloppy from Dhawan.

* Strategic time out 145 more needed from 11 overs. With Pollard around, anything is possible. With Yuvi around, any side could get tensed - the opposition or even his own, if he does not get going. With Hardik Pandya and Ben Cutting to come, nothing is unachievable. Mumbai would still believe. Dew has made its presence felt too. What about Delhi? Would they be taking it lightly? At their own peril. Here comes AXAR PATEL.

22.21 IST: Trent Boult to Quinton de Kock, FOUR! De Kock on fire! This is a real gift from the Kiwi to him. A juicy full toss on the pads, de Kock picks it up and clips it fine down the leg side. MI 27/0 in 2.5 Overs

22.20 IST: Trent Boult to Quinton de Kock, SIX! Enough of sighters for de Kock! He has started to open his arms now. Back of a length ball angling into him, Quinton has that right in the arc as he smashes it over mid-wicket.

Colin Ingram praises Rishabh Pant and feels he is a heck of a talent and belted the bowlers to all parts of the park. Adds that even watching him bat in the nets is awesome. On his own performance, Ingram replies that he never used to love this format but he has worked on his game and feels it's a challenge to bat at any position. Credits the partnership between Pant and Tewatia which took them past the 200-run mark.

* The innings can be split into three parts - the first part which belonged to Mumbai, removing two wickets quickly. The second, which belonged to the resurgence in the form of Shikhar Dhawan and Colin Ingram. And finally the third, which was owned simply by Rishabh Pant. Dhawan bided his time, trying to stem the flow of wickets, Ingram started the counter-attack but the final punch, was delivered by Mr. Pant.

17, 18, 12, 15, 21 and 16 - the carnage in the last 6 overs - 99/3 - Uffff! What an exhibition of batting by Rishabh Pant. He was 1 off 5 when the 14th over ended. Has smashed 77 from the remaining 22 since then. Wow.

21.44 IST: SIX! Now that's a PULL SHOT and Pant has executed that brilliantly! Pant has targeted the square leg field with his pull shots all evening. Not sure, why are they feeding him there? 21.40 IST: FIFTY! Rishabh Pant scores his 9th IPL half-century. 21.10 IST: OUT! The Aussie strikes to break the 83-run stand! A much-desired breakthrough for Mumbai! The slower one has done wonders for Cutting. 20.23 IST: OUT! Kieron Pollard has taken a stunner! The Wankhede Stadium roars! This is outstanding stuff from the West Indian. Wow, just wow! Back of a length delivery outside off, Shreyas packs a punch from the back foot but fails to keep it down. 20.21 IST: SIX! Smashed! DC 29/1 in 3.3 overs

20.17 IST: FOUR! This time the opportunity is grabbed as Iyer slams that for a boundary. Just uses the pace of the bowler. 11 from the over. Rasikh offers width outside off, Shreyas stays put inside the crease and just opens the face of the bat to deflect it wide of short third man. DC 22/1 in 3 overs

20.15 IST: FOUR! Now that's a top shot by Iyer there. He has nailed it! Good length delivery outside off, Iyer latches onto the width and smashes it over covers for a boundary. He has been in superb form of late and would like to make a statement in this first match. DC 16/1 in 2.3 overs

DC 10/1 in 1.3 overs

20.08 IST: FOUR! And that comes off Shaw's bat. Well played by the youngster. Good shot! Shaw anticipates a shorter delivery this time. Stays inside the crease and thumps his pull shot over mid-wicket for a boundary. Nice high back lift from Prithvi! DC 10/0 in 1.2 overs

20.03 IST: Out off a Free Hit! Short in length and around off, Dhawan pulls it off his back foot and it goes over mid-wicket. Krunal in the deep catches it and immediately releases the ball. A single taken. Both the openers are off the mark.
