ENGLAND BEAT INDIA BY 86 RUNS AT LORD'S, LEVEL SERIES 1-1England have leveled the series in grand fashion. They have outplayed the Men in Blue at Mecca of cricket and win the second ODI by 86 runs. After a dominating performance with the bat, their bowlers put their hands up and went through the dangerous looking batting line-up of the visitors. Liam Plunkett took a 4-fer, however, it was a win set up all the bowlers. Everyone except Ben Stokes got into wickets and made a mockery of the Indian chase. India on the other hand had a decent start as the Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan put up a 49-run partnership. Once the former threw his wicket away, two quick wickets pushed them back. After that, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina stitched a threatening 80-run but both got out at the wrong time. This put the batters coming in under pressure and made them play rash shots. (SCORECARD)
INDIA VS ENGLAND 2ND ODI HIGHLIGHTS FROM LORD'S:
21.25 IST: And that's a wrap at Lord's. England beat India by 86 runs to level three-match series 1-1. That is it. England have leveled the series in grand fashion. They have outplayed the Men in Blue at Mecca of cricket and beat them by 86 runs. After a dominating performance with the bat, their bowlers put their hands up and went through the dangerous looking batting line-up.
21.24 IST: OUT! Chahal tries something fancy by lofting the ball but it goes straight to the fielder. They defeat India by a big margin and add salt to their wounds by bowling them out as well. 23.23 IST: FOUR! Impressive batting by Chahal out there in the middle. IND 236/9 in 49.9 overs
21.19 IST: Comical stuff out in the middle. Chahal taps this towards backward point, sets off but seeing Moeen Ali diving and stopping the ball, he rushes to get back before the throw comes in. It misses, he tries to steal one now but another throw comes in from square leg and he has to dive back in again. Hilarious.
23.14 IST: FOUR! Smashed by Chahal down the ground. Unexpected as we've never seen these two at the crease together in a while. IND 227/9 in 48 overs

He's out of here. IND 217/9 in 46.4 overs
22.05 IST: OUT! Liam Plunkett removes MS Dhoni for 37. Dhoni holes out! He finally decides to go for it. Charges out to this length ball on the stumps and swings across the line. He kneels down to wind up for the big slog sweep and goes through with it, but the ball goes right through the big gate. The furniture behind is disturbed and that's the other set batsman gone. He too falls short of a fifty. England on top now. India 154/5 in 31.1 overs vs England (322/7) at Lord's.
21.45 IST: MS Dhoni is the new man in for India.

The googly from Rashid, it comes back in and catches Kohli dead in front of the stumps as he plays across the line and misses. Big appeal and the finger goes up quickly. No thought of the DRS from the skipper as he knows he's gone. Partnership of 80 comes to an end. Is this the moment England can capitalize on? India 140/4 in 27 overs vs England (322/7) at Lord's.

Hello and welcome to our live cricket updates of India vs England 2nd ODI at the 'Mecca of Cricket', Lord's in London. The Toss will take place at 15.00 PM IST (3.00 PM) and the match will commence at 15.30 PM IST (3.30 PM). It's an action-packed day on a Saturday and witness history in the making.
Brief Preview: Following an impressive six-wicket haul in Nottingham, India wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav will look to continue his dominance against England in the second ODI at Lord's, London, on Saturday. With an eight-wicket win at Trent Bridge on Thursday, India currently lead the three-match series 1-0. Earlier, the men-in-blue sealed the three-match T20I series 2-1 against England. Perhaps the game was scheduled for Saturday, keeping in mind the FIFA World Cup final on Sunday. But, with only a day's gap between the two matches, it hasn't worked out in England's favour who have their task cut out once again after going down by eight wickets in the series opener.
